No Good Gofers Pinball Machine was manufactured by Williams and released in 1997. It was Pat Lawlor’s final design for Williams before their eventual closing in 1999. No Good Gofers Pinball Machine is a Sports – Golf themed game.
It’s man vs. gofer in a knock-down, drag-out, winner takes all game of golf. Players try to shoot nine holes while those pesky varmints. Buzz and Bud do their best to ruin your game. But even if you’re not lord of the links, No Good Gofers is still a blast!
With a wide range of music, voices, explosions, and a highly animated dot matrix featuring Buzz and Bud, this game is guaranteed to please players of all skill levels. Battle the gofers when they pop up from the playfield to begin one of the most exciting multi-ball modes. Gameplay:
- The game revolves around Buzz and Bud, two gofers who are wreaking havoc on any and all golfers playing on their “turf”.
- The gofers “pop up” during gameplay to taunt the player, as well as provide entryways to locks.
- When the innovative SLAM RAMP drops, launch your ball for a hole-in-one.
- The “hole-in-one” shot is often called one of the greatest shots in pinball history.
- Get teed off on the driving range as BUZZ AND BUD critique your swing, then putt out to complete the hole.
- Once you sink your putt, the SPINNING WHIRLWHEEL stops and awards you a different bonus for each hole.
