Dig Dug Arcade Machine
Dig Dug Arcade Machine is a maze arcade game developed by Namco in 1981 and released in 1982. In North America, it was distributed by Atari, Inc. Dig Dug Arcade Machine game was marketed by Namco as a “strategic digging game.”
Object:
- To defeat all enemies per stage by inflating them to burst or crushing them underneath rocks.
Gameplay:
- The player controls Dig Dug to defeat all enemies per stage, by either inflating them to burst or crushing them underneath rocks.
- Enemies: 1)Pookas – red creatures with comically large goggles, 2)Fygars – fire-breathing green dragons
- Enemies chase Dig Dug through dirt in the form of ghostly eyes.
- Once all the enemies have been defeated, Dig Dug progresses to the next level.
