Demolition Man Pinball Machine
Demolition Man Pinball Machine is a Williams pinball machine released in February 1994. It is based on the motion picture of the same name. It is part of WMS’ SuperPin line of widebody games.
Sylvester Stallone (John Spartan) and Wesley Snipes (Simon Phoenix) provided custom speech for this game during ADR sessions at Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles under the direction of Jon Hey. Hey scored the music of the pinball game in part based upon the movie score by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal. But including new music.
Gameplay:
- 4 multiballs: Fortress, Museum, Wasteland, and Cryoprison
- Completing all multiballs lights the Demolition Jackpot (the total of all jackpots scored in all mutiballs).
- Playfield toy: the Cryo Claw – a mechanical device that captures the ball from a right ramp shot (via a magnet)
- Drop the ball onto one of 5 possible awards: Start AcMag, Lock Freeze, Prison Break, Super Jets, and Capture Simon.
- Completing the 5 awards lights “Demolition Time” a wizard mode starting at 3 balls and with a maximum of 5 balls multiball.
Features:
- Two Flippers buttons
- Pair of Gun handles -have trigger buttons that can be used to control the flippers, and a smaller pair of thumb buttons that can awards bonuses under certain circumstances when pressed
